Module overview

In this module, we consider how the brain is organized for learning and thinking. We also develop a better understanding of how arts-related skills and STEM skills can work together to enhance the acquisition and retention of learning. This information can be very useful because it provides the scientific basis for supporting arts integration and gives teachers the ammunition they need to defend their instructional choices. We also explore the nature of creativity and what scientists are discovering about this important mental talent.
