Module overview
Teachers are not expected to become neuroscientists. But it is essential that their teaching practice is informed by the latest research in Mind Brain Education. As education is becoming a science there is less and less room for individual opinion about which strategies are good and which are bad. We can now base our strategies on proven science.
This module looks at the role of neurotransmitters in the consolidation of memory and the relevance of neurogenesis in learning.
