We live in an interesting time in the world of teaching and learning. The digital age has catapulted us into an era we were not quite ready for. Many educators are struggling to achieve pedagogical practices and curriculum worthy of twenty-first-century learning. David Perkins highlights the importance of moving beyond basic skills, traditional disciplines, discrete disciplines, regional matter, mastering content and prescribed content.
